Presidents' Day

Presidents’ Day is a  federal holiday that began in 1885 with the recognition of George Washington. In 1971 the holiday was moved to the third Monday of February to create a three day weekend holiday to honor all presidents who served in the office. Presidents’ Day is also a good time to remember and honor the presidents of other organizations.  Below are selected photos from our archives of past presidents of some of our local Jewish organizations.
