Women are the backbone and queen-bee workers of the Jewish community organizations. They are the planners, organizers and sponsors of many Jewish functions and activities. Pictured below are photos of some of the Jewish women’s groups that helped and serviced our Jewish communities.

Yavneh Women Sponsor Style Show (Please see and enlarge the photo for ladies’ and fashion show kids’ identification). Mildred (Millie) Cumins, whose photo appears in the above newspaper article, is the mother of noted photographer and filmmaker, Robert Cumins. Robert gave an impressive PowerPoint presentation and talk to the members of the JHSNJ at their annual meeting last year.
