Springtime at Eastside Park

Springtime is right around the corner. We’re looking forward to the warm weather and to getting outside to be more socially connected. If you grew up in Paterson or in the surrounding towns at some time between the 1930's and the 1970's, you may remember the great feeling of spending spring days at Eastside Park. It was a haven for both high school and college teenagers. If you were a teen with a car, you would cruise by the tennis courts and deer cage, and of course drive down dead man’s curve. The below photos from our archives should help you remember as to what springtime at Eastside Park was all about.
