Election Day

November 8th is Election Day. This year’s election is as important as ever. No matter what your affiliation, you should assert your right to vote. Below are photos of local elected officials as well as a photo of President Jimmy Carter receiving a shofar.

Florence (Flossie) Dobrow standing on the left, served Fair Lawn for 25 years as a council member and as mayor from 1981-82. That appears to be Bernard Hersh to the right of Flossie and seated is Lewis Sprechman. Both Bernard and Lewis succeeded Flossie as Fair Lawn mayors. Person on the far right in this photo is unidentified. Anybody recognize him?
