Local Authors and Books
From time to time the JHSNJ receives donated books from authors who have either grown up in our neighborhoods or have authored books that pertain to the Jewish experience of growing up in these neighborhoods. This week we pictorially feature some of these authors and their books. Most of these books can be bought online.

Memories of our “Y” by Bob Rosenthal

Seducing Harry, An Epicurean Affair, Judith Marks-White

Victor Borden – My Life and Journey, “I did it my way”

Sugar and Sand by Gail Fishman Gerwin

Beyond the Silk Mill by Leslie Rupley

The upper left image is "Six Guys from Hackensack" by George B. Kirsch. The upper right image of "Chasing the Ghost" was written by Dr. Leonard A. Cole. The book is a mixture of memoir and biography that tells a deeply human story. Although informed by the importance of neutrinos, it is primarily about Fred Reines, and not technical details of neutrino physics.
