Paterson Storefronts

Paterson, N.J. was a magnet for Jewish immigrants.  Many of these immigrants were spirited and energetic entrepreneurs who were eager to start their own businesses.  Below are photos taken in 1938 indicating some mom-and-pop stores that were established as part of the Paterson Jewish neighborhoods.
