Valentine's Day
Although Valentine’s Day is not a Jewish holiday, many Jews celebrate it not as a religious holiday, but as a day of love and affection. We have selected a few photos from our archives that we think depict the essence of the holiday.

On the left are Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Hockman on their wedding day (date unknown). On the right is Daughters of Miriam Center President Jack Birnberg, along with his wife Louise, 1996.

In 1975, the Young Couples Club of Fair Lawn sponsored an outing at Frivolous Sal’s Banjo Parlor. Pictures on the left are Don and Phyllis Barnett sharing a kiss. Pictured on the right are Sam and Muriel Kimelman dancing it up.

On the left are Fanny and Saul Mann from Paterson and on the right are Sylvia and Jerry Atkins, also from Paterson. (Dates unknown)

On the left are Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Cohen of Passaic and on the right are Pearl ? and her partner (?) also from Passaic, 1938. Can you help us on this I.D.?
