Dancing has long been a Jewish tradition to express joy and camaraderie. Jewish dance forms include circle folk dancing such as the hora, Hasidic dancing (men and women dancing separately), and Tza’ad Temani, a Yemenite dance based on swaying and quick hopping steps. Below are photos from our archives showing local folks enjoying dancing. Please help us identify these dancers, where and when these events took place.

Judy Horowitz front center (Natalie's sister), directly behind Judy is Ray Kempner (glasses). Mel Druin is tall guy in back with white shirt second from back on right.
