Sukkot

This year Sukkot is celebrated from September 20 to September 27. Part of the celebration is to build a sukkah (a temporary open structure) which represents the shelters our ancestors built during their 40 years journey in the desert from Egypt to the Promised Land. Below are samples from our archives of local sukkots that have been constructed in our communities.
