Simchat Torah

Simchat Torah begins at sundown on September 28.  In Hebrew, Simchat Torah means “rejoicing with the Torah.” It is the time when the reading of the Torah is completed and starts again from the beginning. Most synagogues celebrate the holiday by parading the Torah throughout the synagogue for all to see. Below are photos showing activities related to the celebration of the holiday. Our first 5 photos show cute kids preparing for the holiday. Can you help us identify the names, place, and year?
