ROBERT A. CUMINS

A Fair Lawn native whose career spans over five decades, he has photographed some of the most notable people in history, including several presidents, Israel Prime Minister Yitzchak Shamir, and disgraced Wall Street financier Ivan Boesky. Bob's collections include the Super Bowl I - January 1969 (NY Jets vs. the Baltimore Colts,) The Snows of Jerusalem, 1980, The Treaties for Peace, The Final Photographs Together - Rabin and Clinton, October 1995, and September 11th as well as photo shoots of humanitarian aid in Ethiopia, the Dominican Republic, and Haiti. His photographs have appeared on the covers of magazines all over the world. Bob's most famous photograph, etched in all of our minds, is of the second plane approaching and striking the second tower of the World Trade Center on 9/11. The image appeared on the cover of People Magazine within days of the attack.
