Presents a Virtual Program featuring author Lilly Maier

-

Lilly will discuss her true story of the unexpected friendship between an 11-year old girl and a Holocaust survivor.

In 1939, Arthur’s parents sent him abroad on a Kindertransport from Austria hoping to save him from the Holocaust. The traumatic experience for a 10-year-old boy took him to France and finally to America. Sixty-five years later, Arthur returns to his parents’ apartment in Vienna where he meets 11-year old Lilly Maier who is living in the same apartment Arthur lived in as a child.  This chance meeting has a significant impact on their lives in ways that are totally unimaginable.
