Sukkot

This week (October 6-13) is the Jewish holiday of Sukkot, traditionally a time of ingathering and celebration of the harvest. During Sukkot, we build and dwell in sukkot (temporary open structures) which represent the shelters our ancestors built during their 40 years’ journey in the desert from Egypt to the Promised Land. Below are photos depicting the holiday spirit.
