The Fourth of July JWV Picnic

Today we celebrate the Fourth of July, the birthday of the United States. It is our “Independence Day” from Great Britain commemorating the ratification of the Declaration of Independence by the Second Continental Congress on July 4, 1776.  This day is commonly celebrated with fireworks, parades, barbeques, carnivals, picnics and many other family and public events. Below are photos of a 1947 Kaufman-Harris Jewish War Veterans picnic held at Abrams Duck Farm in Totowa, NJ. Can you help us identify these picnic goers?
