Susan received her teaching degrees from Hunter College in NYC. Her career includes teaching in New York City at both public high schools and private schools. She received awards from the National Endowment for the Humanities for her outstanding presentations to several prestigious universities and the U.S. Capitol Historical Society in Washington, DC. Susan was a docent at the American Museum of Natural History, the New York Historical Society, and the Museum of the City of NY. Currently, she speaks to many groups and organizations in the NY metropolitan area.
